It’s been a challenge to consider the meaning of
FUIL as an organization. When I think of organization I
think of people joining together. In its purest and most
passionate sense this idea of organization means a sharing
of inspiration and faith in an ideal or archetypal reality.

 |
I find that the world events of the day, stimulate
consideration of this deeper view of organization and heighten
my concern to
promote compassion in the world. This is the value of the organization.
The concept of FUIL is really about a “place” that
exists within. Its about a “place” or an experience
of being , that is present for all. It is about honoring an Archetypal
reality. I continue to think about the meaning of organization
and I realize that FUIL is a service organization. FUIL exists
for the purpose of inviting and nurturing an open mindedness
and awareness of the nature of a Universal reality.
The purpose of FUIL, which directly interacts with the mission
of TIAAP, is about the Summoning and Celebration of this Universal
Loving Force that exists within all of us and is channeled in creative
and interactive ways. Its about building relationships in particular
with women who are engaged in the healing, teaching and peace building
arts. This is not about uniting only professionals who engage in
career activities, though we certainly welcome our professional
sisters, we also welcome women in all walks of life and endeavor
who are simply interested and concerned with healing teaching and
peace building paths that they have discovered and explored in
their own lives. In all venues the perspective of FUIL remains
the same and therefore, the embrace of our Spirits is strengthened
and fortified. The intention of creating FUIL as an organization,
is to fuel energy to those women who are conscious of their lives
as a creative journey.
Many many women are coming forward now to lead the way”…..but
who will be our teachers?…..you will be teachers for each
other…..you will come together in circles and speak your
truth to each other. The time has come for women to accept their
spiritual responsibility for our planet.” *
I invite all women who are interested in such experiences and ideas,
to share with me their desires to create relationship as we move
forward on this path.

THE MISSION of any organization represents its reason
to be. The core purpose behind all of our operations
is to help caregivers and peace builders in creative
ways to open opportunities which foster the internal
embrace of “the spirit of Peace”. Specifically,
six years ago we decided todirect our energies to
educate and mentor peace workers and any individuals
or groups interested in peace building. What we chose
to teach were core values, such as: empathy; respect;
cooperation; and honesty.
|
|

|
 |
These
values serve as important examples about the nature of peace, as
an inner state of balance and harmony and as an achievable, dynamic
process. Teaching has occurred over the years through literature
or pamphlets; workshops; seminars; lectures; and the mentoring
process.
Throughout
the years we have learned that it is vital for our mission to be
a not for profit, multidisciplinary and multicultural humanitarian
organization. We have also learned that our most important services
involve support through participation in all forms of learning
activities and in many forms of humanitarian services. |
Our most important objectives, especially now in an age
of such violence and human neglect, is to perform services
related to and open to support practitioners working for
humanitarian values and welfare.
