A
prospective member wrote questioning how it was that TIAAP
and FUIL manifest the Spirit that they profess. This letter
was in response.
Dear prospective member:
The International Association for The Advancement of Peace
and FUIL have manifested efforts on several levels thus far,
for example: FUIL has been host to four women’s gatherings
within the past three years. We have just completed the premiere
issue and have a beautiful new website for FUIL as well as
TIAAP. TIAAP has been the initiator and has been instrumental
in thirty-five convention programs a the American Psychological
Association Convention(s) over the past four years. These
programs have addressed the issues of Values and the import
of the Spiritual Dimension in Peacemaking, Peacekeeping and
Peacebuilding. TIAAP is also responsible for the creation
of an Interdivisional Committee/Multidisciplinary support
groups for peacemakers and counselors to study and promote
Values. This effort has reached 150,000 people world wide.

Both TIAAP and FUIL are involved in the establishment of courses
to be offered to professionals in the Health Care Field of Massage
and Psychology (with the possibility of the inclusion of other
fields) as CEU accredited courses. The intention in this effort
is to support the healers in their effort to heal others by reinforcing
the essence of Health Care and Healing and the connection to Joy
in the process.
All over the world unaccompanied children face enormous risks
and uncertainties. To survive and to build hope for the future,
they need to build faith and ultimately be able to apply that
faith to be trained to survive. These children lack the skills
required to succeed in job training. The goal of a major project
for TIAAP is to initiate an educational system aimed at increasing
their access to and success in job training.
These are just some of the efforts that we are currently engaged
